1963 Surcharged Apolinario Mabini Definitive Stamp
On March 12, 1963, the Bureau of Posts issued an overprinted version of the 6s. Apolinario Mabini definitive stamp which was surcharged to 1s.

The 19th session of the Economic Commission for Asia and the Far East (ECAFE) held its 19th session in Manila from March 5 to 18, 1963. A commemorative slogan cancellation was used at the ECAFE postal station.

1963 New Famous Filipinos IV (Emilio Jacinto)
In 1894, Emilio Jacinto a student at the University of Santo Tomas, became a member of the underground revolutionary society Katipunan. Jacinto rose in the ranks of the Katipunan hierarchy becoming Andres Bonifacio's advisor. Jacinto died of malaria in 1899 at the age of twenty-three.
The Bureau of Posts issued the Emilio Jacinto 1 piso definitive stamp on January 23, 1963.

1962 Rizal Centennial Semi-Postal Stamps
The Rizal centennial stamp series was completed on December 30, with the release of two semi-postal stamps showing Rizal at play.
The 6 +4s stamp portrays Rizal engaged in a chess match on board a ship.
The model for the 30 + 5s stamp was a photograph of Rizal fencing Juan Luna in Paris.

1962 New Famous Filipinos III (Rajah Soliman Definitive)
The third stamp in the New Famous Filipinos series was the 30s stamp picturing Rajah Soliman, the Muslim Rajah of Maynila at the time the Spanish forces first came to Luzon in 1570. The regular and official stamps were issued
on November 30, 1962.
