A 1c definitive stamp featuring Manuel Quezon was issued on November 15, 1960, the 25th anniversary of the inauguration of the Commonwealth and its first president Manuel Quezon.

Quezon Memorial

The Manuel Quezon Monument, located in Quezon City, consists of a tower with three vertical pylons, representing the three geographic regions of the Philippines. Beneath the tower is a gallery and Quezon's tomb. The 1c definitive stamp shows the Quezon memorial in the background.
